Anna Regina P. Batuhan

Anna Regina P. Batuhan

Partner Anna Regina P. Batuhan obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of the Philippines in 1991, cum laude, 1st in the graduating class, and class valedictorian.

She obtained her Master of Laws from Harvard Law School, Cambridge, Massachusetts, U.S.A., in 1995. At Harvard, her areas of concentration included corporations, corporate finance, and financing transactions. After Harvard, Ms. Batuhan resumed her practice at the law firm of Castillo Laman Tan Pantaleon & San Jose, where she had the opportunity to work on a number of loan, capital market, and project finance transactions. In 1997, Ms. Batuhan joined Ayala Corporation, where she served as internal counsel with the rank of Associate Director for Legal Services beginning 2003. Ms. Batuhan resigned her post in Ayala in August 2008 following the birth of her second child. In her twenty years of practice, Ms. Batuhan’s experience in corporate transactions, specifically in the field of corporate financing, has been both varied and extensive.

Joselito John G. Blando

Partner Joselito John G. Blando graduated from the University of the Philippines, College of law in 1992 (Honor Society). He worked at SyCip Law from 1992 to 2001. Atty. Blando is a labor, immigration, litigation, special projects and administrative areas law practitioner.

Alberto C. Garcia

Mr. Alberto C. Garcia, Jr. received his Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB) from San Beda College of Law, Manila. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Humanities (with a Professional Certificate in Political Economy) from the University of Asia and the Pacific.

Aristotle B. Batuhan

Aristotle B. Batuhan

Special Counsel Aristotle B. Batuhan graduated from the University of the Philippines, College of Law in 1992 (Honor Society). He earned his master’s degree from Harvard Law School in 1995. At Harvard, his areas of concentration included constitutional law and public international law. Upon graduation from Harvard, he worked briefly as a visiting foreign attorney at the prestigious law offices of Hale & Dorr in Boston.

From 1996 to early 1999, Mr. Batuhan worked as a senior associate at SyCip Law. His practice areas included corporations, foreign investments, project finance, public utilities (telecoms and water), banking, securities and privatization. He also has experience in corporate, civil and criminal litigation, and has argued cases before labor and other administrative tribunals.

Mr. Batuhan was tapped to join the Presidential Management Staff, Office of the President in April 1999, with the rank of presidential assistant. He was tasked to review foreign-funded projects and government infrastructure contracts. He resigned his post in October 2000. Mr. Batuhan also served as Senior Legal Consultant at the Office of the Presidential Chief of Staff in January 2006 to early 2007.

Mr. Batuhan co-founded Batuhan Blando Concepcion Law Offices in October 2001 and was its Managing Partner until July 20, 2010, when he was appointed as Undersecretary of the Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC). He resigned from DOTC on October 15, 2011 and resumed his private practice as Special Counsel at Batuhan Blando Concepcion & Trillana Law Offices.

Mr. Dan Allen D. Lomeda received his Juris Doctor degree (JD) from San Beda College of Law – Alabang. Mr. Lomeda obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Entrepreneurship from the Southville International Schools and Colleges.

Mr. Mark Jim S. Ibus received his Juris Doctor degree (JD) from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines and is currently completing his Master of Laws at the San Sebastian College – Recoletos. Mr. Ibus also obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Political Economy from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines.

Ms. Vanda Charissa T. Dayagbil received her Juris Doctor degree (JD) from University of San Carlos – College of Law, Cebu City. Ms. Dayagbil also obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science – Law and Policy Studies from the University of San Carlos, Cebu City.

Mr. Juan Emmanuel P. Batuhan received his Juris Doctor degree (JD) from University of the Philippines College of Law and graduated 7th in a class of 151 graduates. He obtained his Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Columbia Law School with Academic Honors - Harlan Fiske Stone Scholars. Mr. Batuhan got his Bachelor of Arts in Humanities (AB Humanities) from Ateneo De Manila University as Merit Scholar. Apart from being a Philippine Bar Passer Mr. Batuhan is also a New York State Bar Passer.

Mr. Anthony Leigh C. Sibi received his Juris Doctor degree (JD) from University of San Carlos – College of Law, Cebu City. Mr. Sibi also obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science – Public Management and Development degree from University of San Carlos, Cebu City.

Jose Maria C. Ramos

Jose Maria C. Ramos

Mr. Jose Maria C. Ramos received his Juris Doctor (Second Honors) and undergraduate degree from Ateneo de Manila University. His main areas of practice are employment, corporate services, special projects, and litigation. Jose Maria (or Maui) assists on a wide range of employment-related matters, including labor standards compliance, legitimate job contracting, reorganization as a result of mergers or acquisitions, review of company policies and contracts, internal disciplinary procedings, and employment litigation before labor bodies and appellate courts. Maui also deals with a broad range of corporate matters for clients across various industries, such as business process outsourcing, warehousing and logistics, medical services, real estate, technology, consulting, and power and energy.

Karl Benedict. N. Sayson

Mr. Karl Benedict. N. Sayson received his Juris Doctor degree (JD) from the University of San Jose – Recoletos, Cebu City and his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Major in Law and Policy Studies from the University of San Carlos, Cebu City. Mr. Sayson also served as the Editor-in-Chief of the official student publication of the same University. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Sayson served as the Corporate Lawyer and Properties and Sustainability Manager for a holdings company with various strategic business units in the Philippines, engaged in real estate and development, healthcare service, fashion retailing, wood distribution, and food and beverage. Mr. Sayson also briefly served as an Attorney for the Department of Transportation.
