Lead Founding Partner Aristotle B. Batuhan graduated from the University of the Philippines, College of Law in 1992 (Honor Society). He earned his Master of Law degree from Harvard Law School in 1995, after which he worked with Hale & Dorr in Boston, MA, as a visiting foreign attorney. He worked at SyCip Law from 1992 to 2000. Atty. Batuhan is an expert in corporate law, public service law, special projects, and has handled complex and multi-faceted projects on telecommunications, power, water, infrastructure, and build-operate-transfer (BOT) engagements, among others. Atty. Batuhan has also had stints in government, including with the Department of Transportation, Bases Conversion and Development Authority and Presidential Management Staff, among others.
Partner Anna Regina Pantaleon Batuhan graduated class valedictorian from the University of the Philippines, College of Law in 1991. She earned her Master of Laws degree from Harvard Law School in 1995. Prior to joining the Firm, Atty. Batuhan worked at Ayala Corporation as Associate Director for Legal Services. Atty. Batuhan practices commercial and corporate law, and handles projects involving public utilities, telecommunications, investments, financing, real estate and infrastructure, among others.
Partner Joselito John G. Blando graduated from the University of the Philippines, College of Law in 1992 (Honor Society). He worked at SyCip Law from 1992 to 2001. Atty. Blando is a labor, litigation, immigration, corporate, real estate, special services, and administrative law practitioner. His experience encompasses practice at all levels of the judicial courts and quasi-judicial agencies. He also handles corporate housekeeping, commercial transactions, contract negotiations, collective bargaining, and other legal works.
